Light on silent feet may I travel now,
Yet fire and ice are loud foes.
How can one make it to the North,
When loud silence is within me?

The clashes of steel hit to the core,
The weary road greets my every turn.
Southern conflict is my birth right unwanted,
Northern agony is my birth right unwanted.

Half a fighter, half a wanderer,
What use does the world have for me?
Peace cannot be found alone,
Yet peace cannot be found in the many.

Survival is our animal instinct,
The fight or flight response.
Light on silent feet may I travel now,
Yet fire and ice are loud foes.

Nice.
Very evocative and with some gorgeous language and imagery, as well as enough of a touch of mystery to keep the reader's attention. :)
